Studio Urge is the desire to get to work on something creative. I still paint in oils in my painting studio and the urge to do something digital comes from the same place. All illustrations are done by me, Joe Ruiz.

I have been developing illustrated products for clients all over the globe since 2013. In that time I have designed: 

• board game packaging & assets
• over a dozen children's books
• playing cards
• tee-shirts designs
• stickers
• book covers and interior illustrations

What I try to bring to every job is an enthusiastic spirit that sees each new project as an opportunity.  I work hard to communication often and as clearly as possible which means I am almost always available for my clients when they have question or concerns. Over the years I have developed an efficient workflow that makes the entire process enjoyable and stress free!
